5 listopada miała miejsce premiera oficjalnego wydawnictwa z zapisem występów Hendrix Experience podczas Miami Pop Festival '68. Na swój krążek CD, muszę poczekać do ukazania się Crossroads 2013, jednak już po kilku odsłuchach w Spotify uważam, że będzie to bardzo wartościowe wydawnictwo. Słuchając mam wrażenie, że to jedno z najlepiej zrealizowanych nagrań koncertowych Hendrixa, jakie kiedykolwiek słyszałem. Koncert rejestrowany był przez Eddie Kramera, więc to w dużej części zapewne jego zasługa.
Oprócz takich klasków jak „Hey Joe”, „Purple Haze”, „Foxey Lady” i „Fire” mamy bluesowe „Hear My Train A’ Comin’" a przede wszystkim perełkę dla mnie tego wydawnictwa, 12 minutowe wykonanie
"Red House", jak sam Jimi zapowiada „slow blues”. Jakość nagrania pozwala wsłuchać się w wiele niuansów brzmieniowych i artykulacyjnych gry Jimiego, co umożliwia w pełni rozkoszować się muzyką. Bębny Mitch'a i bas Noel'a są także bardzo "czytelne" w nagraniach. Jam bandowe
„Tax Free” z jazzową solówką Mitch’a na perkusji, to również mocny punkt tego koncertu.
Płyta będzie doskonałym uzupełnienie dla zapisów festiwalowych w Monterey i Woodstock oraz wcale nie gorsza (nie wiem czy nie lepsza) od tych bardzo osławionych występów.
