John Campbell "A Man and His Blues"
W końcu udało mi się zdobyć tę płytę. Kojarzyłem tego wykonawcę, ale z zupełnie innego grania, które do mnie mało przemawiało. Płyta "A Man and His Blues" to granie gdzieś pomiędzy akustycznym z delty, a elektrycznym miejskim bluesem. Chyba najbardziej pasuje w tym przypadku porównanie do Lightnin' Hopkins'a. Zresztą jego utwór otwiera ten album ("Going to Dallas"). Producentem płyty jest Ronnie Earl który również zagrał w trzech utworach. Dawno już nie słuchałem tyle razy pod rząd jednej płyty.

Miałem wątpliwości, czy ta płyta pasuje do tematu, jest tu dużo bluesa, ale nie rzadko gitara zbliża się w rejony bardziej blues-rockowe (coś w stylu SRV), najwyżej oberwie mi się, że spamuje , ale ogólnie polecam

Dzięki Agrypa postaram się dzisiaj być na nasłuchu, a jeżeli nie to chociaż nagram audycję i odsłucham w późniejszym czasie, ale goście na tej płycie już zachęcili mnie do tego, żeby przesłuchać fragmenty tej płyty i jest to na pewno granie, które bardzo mi się podoba.
